VodVisor LLC operates PingShift. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have when you use our website, desktop app, and related services.
PingShift uses destination-based split tunneling. We only route network packets destined for the specific IP addresses and subnets of supported game servers (such as Valorant). We do not monitor, log, or route your general web browsing, downloads, or unrelated network traffic.
Your WireGuard private key stays on your device. We do not store it on our servers.
We collect information you give us and data needed to run the service:
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal data only where we have a valid legal basis:
To protect the 3-day trial from multi-account abuse, the Windows desktop client may read device identifiers (such as motherboard and CPU serial identifiers) on the local machine. Those raw values are immediately combined and hashed locally with SHA-256 before transmission.
We store only the resulting one-way cryptographic hash in our systems. We do not store or transmit raw motherboard or CPU serial values to our backend. We rely on our legitimate interest in fraud prevention, abuse detection, and service integrity for this processing.
For users in Germany, local client reads of device identifiers used for the 3-day trial hash are strictly necessary to provide the requested telemedia service and to protect network integrity. The hash is created on your device before any value leaves your machine. We do not use those reads for advertising or unrelated profiling.
We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Payments are handled by Stripe and other specialized providers. We receive subscription status and customer identifiers, not full card details.
We share operational data with trusted infrastructure partners when needed to run the network. That includes database hosts, payment processors, and regional edge server providers (such as major cloud infrastructure vendors in Frankfurt for EU routing).
We may also disclose information to law enforcement or regulators when required by applicable law.
VodVisor LLC is based in the United States. If you use PingShift from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other countries with transfer restrictions, your personal data may be transferred to VodVisor LLC in the United States and to subprocessors in the United States or other countries.
Where required, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures to protect data transferred outside your country. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us at support@pingshift.gg.
Our website uses minimal cookies to keep you logged in, run basic analytics, and make the dashboard work. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We keep account and billing records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Hardware identifier hashes collected for anti-abuse and fraud prevention are retained for up to 24 months from the date they are recorded. After that period, they are hard-deleted automatically unless a longer period is required by law or an active fraud investigation.
We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.3 where supported), access controls, and row-level security on user data. EU user records are logically isolated in our database by residency zone. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password.
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. In Germany, you may contact your state data protection authority (Landesdatenschutzbeauftragter) or the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI).
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA. To exercise any right or ask questions about this policy, contact us at support@pingshift.gg.
The service is not directed at children under 13 in the United States, or under 16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below those ages.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
