Windows Firewall & UDP Routing
If PingShift shows a firewall warning or won't stay connected, Windows may be blocking the routing service or game UDP. These steps add manual allow rules. You only need to do this once per PC.
Open the firewall settings
Press the Windows key, search for Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security, and open it. Click Inbound Rules on the left.
Allow PingShift through the firewall
Click New Rule, choose Program, and browse to your PingShift install folder (usually under Program Files). Select PingShift.exe and pingshift-routing-service.exe. Allow the connection on Private networks. If problems continue, repeat the same steps under Outbound Rules.
Allow UDP for the tunnel
Create another rule for UDP. Use port 51820 unless diagnostics in the app show a different port for your edge. Allow it for all remote addresses.
Restart and reconnect
Press Windows key + R, type services.msc, and press Enter. Find PingShiftRouting, right-click it, and choose Restart. Open the PingShift app and connect again.
